I read a hell of a lot of SF in my early days, and I still read them now and then.
The Stars My Destination, Alfred Bester Farmer in the Sky, Robert A. Heinlein Bug Jack Barron, Norman Spinrad Gateway, Frederik Pohl City, Clifford D. Simak The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrich, Philip K. Dick A Mirror For Observers, Edgar Pangborn The Legion of Space, Jack Williamson Lucifer's Hammer, Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle The Dreaming Jewels, Theodore Sturgeon To Your Scattered Bodies Go, Philip Jose Farmer Earth Abides, George Stewart
I could go on. I didn't want to double-list authors, or there'd be more Heinlein, Pohl, and Spinrad titles in the list.

I've read a bit of science fiction, but not enough to make a reliable top ten list.
I have that PKD book on my list (I think it was a rec from the Scream Factory book), and I've read Lucifer's Hammer and Farmer in the Sky.
I'm adding the other ones right now

I found a nice (reprint) hardcover of The Stars, My Destination last weekend while book hunting in Raleigh. I also got an old hardcover of Asimov's story cycle, I Robot. Which has nothing, thank heavens, to do with the Will Smith movie.

I think I've read all the ones you listed, Mark, except Earth Abides.

I adore Earth Abides. I found a fairly nice olf hardcover of it a month or two ago at a library sale. I've read it twice and I hope to enjoy it again in the coming year or so.
