Well, it sounds intriguing. Arty wunderkind Jim Jarmusch doing a zombie comedy? But the trailer didn't look so hot, and I hear woeful things.
Jarmusch has proven himself to be a great filmmaker. Dead Man is, to my way of thinking, a masterpiece. I really like Night on Earth. All the others are at least worth a look. But this one? I just don't know.

Yes, but Jeff loves Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil, which is one of the worst films I've ever tried to watch.

I loved Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil, so maybe I'll hate it. But I love Adam Driver in everything I've seen him in, so who knows?!

Yeah, everybody likes Tucker and Dale but me. I found it to be painfully unfunny.
Jarmusch definitely polarizes viewers. Many consider his movies to be unutterably boring. Others love the sublet nature of them. But then The Dead Don't Die seems to be anything but subtle.
Humor is incredibly subjective. What appeals to one may be unbearable to another. That's why I try to never say things like "That's not funny", but rather, "It isn't funny at all to me".
