Anybody planning on reading this one?
The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton was published 50 years ago...and along comes a sequel written by Daniel H. Wilson. I've not read him before, but I picked up the book because I loved Crichton's novels. I hope I'm not disappointed.

I never got around to any Crichton. He's always been on my list. I'm not quite sure why I never took the plunge.

I'd never read Crichton until the last couple of years. The ideas are great, but his writing is not for me.

I’ve read quite a few of his books. The best was Eaters of the Dead. This might be interesting.

I liked Crichton, but for me, this isn't Crichton so I have no interest. Just my personal preference, but never been a fan of them turning dead author's into brands.

I finished reading The Andromeda Evolution and I really liked it. I think Daniel H. Wilson did a remarkable job of channeling Crichton. And the ending clearly calls for a sequel.
