I just started reading (with the option to listen with Audible) the new Dean Koontz series NAMELESS. Koontz can be hit-or-miss but this looks like a definite hit, a fast-moving thriller with an intriguing avenger with a mysterious background. Koontz seems to have paired down his often extravagant language without losing his trademark turn of poetic phrases. The six-part series of stories is free for Amazon Prime readers or $1.99 each for non-Primers. Each part is about 60 or so pages.

Or maybe Hideaway. He used to be one of my regular must-read authors. I grew tired of the similarity of the stories. I kind of miss reading him.

I just watched the Hobbit trilogy again on DVD.
Hey, glad you got this up and running Mark. I can't figure out how to log back in yet! It won't recognize my user name which is me!

I just finished Lord of the Flies for the first time (never realized that was where King got the name for his fictional town of Castle Rock), now am reading Full Throttle by Hill and Jonah Hex by Joe Lansdale. Just finished watching a Netflix show called Atypical which was quite good. Don't really listen to much music anymore, though for some reason Amy Winehouse's "Valerie" is always running through my head.

I'll be visiting here for sure, Mark. I prefer the old message boards and really can't stand social media. I have to use FB because of my real estate and band for promotion, but I refuse to use any other. And I guess to promote writing a little!

Welcome, Mark!
I feel like quitting social media too, Paul. Promoting my own book is a big reason why I stick with it.

Watching: CASTLE ROCK Greg What do you think of the show, Greg? I don't have a lot of time for viewing these days, but I am very curious. Thanks for the welcome back. Nice to see the message boards running again. If you have Hulu I strongly recommend checking the show out. The first season was great and several episodes into the second season it’s picking up steam and throwing in some nice twists. Greg
