Does anyone read Don Winslow? I've never tried him but he's just published a collection of 6 novellas called BROKEN. I read the first one and liked it a lot. Now I'm part-way through the second and it's even better. I was curious if anyone's read his novels and what they think?

The Force is one of THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ. Period. I have yet to read anything else by Winslow, but I plan to get to Broken soon.

I've finished 3 of the 6 novellas in BROKEN. They've all been quite good. Not amazing, but certainly well-written and interesting.
I'm going to pick up The Force. That's the one I've been eyeing.

I finished Broken last week, and I really liked it. The last novella was particularly powerful and brought a tear to my eye, which I wasn't expecting going in.

I'll reiterate: The Force is a GREAT novel. You should try to make time for it, John.

I finished The Force a couple of days ago. It was a very powerful novel, and very memorable.

I thought The Force was a good, fair look at different sides of controversial issues. Denny Malone was obviously a criminal, but I felt heartbroken for him at the end.

I'm on the fourth story in Broken and I am really enjoying it. I understand some of these characters appear in earlier Winslow books. I guess I have another author I need to catch up on.
