My copy of the Graveyard Edition of Tremblay's A Head Full of Ghosts should arrive today. Brian Keene's End of the Road has shipped and will probably get to my house early next week. Cool stuff, and a lot more coming up to look forward to.

They recently announced the next book in the Graveyard Edition series, Red Church by Scott Nicholson.
I haven't read any of his novels, but I did read a short story collection of his a couple of years ago, and remember liking it very much.

I liked a couple of Nicholson books, but I am not jumping on this one. For me he is what was once considered a paperback original writer.

Anyone hear of any updates to the Tabitha King release? Feels like it's been ages since I pre-ordered this one.

From the CD production updates page: Caretakers by Tabitha King: This book is completely designed, proofread, and ready for the printer as soon as the author has time to sign the signature sheets.
I've signed multiple books for CD. It usually takes a couple/few days. The update seems a little passive aggressive.

You'd think TK would have the time to get it done in a timely fashion. I kind of doubt she is taking in laundry to help make ends meet.

Yes, if I'm to read between the lines...sounds like she's holding up the release by not returning sig sheets. I'm just speculating though. Bummer.

Granted, I don't know if she has an underlying issue, like arthritis or something similar, that would make signing hundreds of sheets really difficult.

I agree, Glen. I have cubital tunnel syndrome in my hand, and it makes mass signing difficult. I was just making a joke. Ha. Ha.
I will be signing several hundred sheets later this year, but I can't talk about that yet. Hint: It isn't an edition of He Who Types Between the Rows.

Let's just say there isn't a health issue, and actually, let's not even use her as an example...but in other cases, sometimes I think publishers should ask for the completed sig sheets up front...along with the signed contract. But I understand all cases are unique, and small publishers are often dealing with a ton of issues.
I will say this, and I don't want it to come across as passive aggressive...just a fact...I've spent more money on Sub Press this year than any previous year, and more on Sub Press than any other boutique label this year because for the most part, their releases are usually on time, and of course, the quality is top notch. While my tastes are actually more in line with Cem Dance releases (more horror), I'm reluctant to pull the trigger on purchases with them, sad to say, because of the delays (whether in their control, or because of outside factors).
I love CD and will continue to support them, but my Sub Press collection has grown exponentially this past 12-18 months.

I got Kevin Quigley's Damage and Dread in this week. I may even read it someday.

Currently reading Bentley Little's THE BANK (for review) and really enjoying it! Very sinister, surreal and spooky...reminds me a lot of TWILIGHT ZONE.
